What you need is the diagnostic procedure for the code that set. You can get that at mitchell1diy online. Most likley a component failed and its not a wiring problem.

Blinking check engine light

Blinking of Check Engine Light may be due to:
- Misfire (Ignition system malfunction).
- Evaporative system malfunction (Gas cap, fuel tank leakage, canister, vacuum leaks).
- Catalytic converter.
- Wiring and connectors.
It is better to have the car be diagnosed properly with a suitable diagnostic tool and to retrieve the error codes and freeze frame data to locate the problem.

Trying to jump start a 2006 750 Li BMW. Lights turned on after 40mins but car still won't start. Dashboard help screen says engine malfunction due to reduced power.

the ground wire needs to go to a better ground then the strut bolt. find a better thick piece of steel on the engine to ground. those cables look very thin. It should start right away not after 40min. your boosting not charging the battery. if you cant get it started with a better ground location try a thicker set of cables and make sure the other car is running. if this fails your battery needs to be replaced

2004 chryaler Pacifica tail gate location

I have run into this problem and i found that the switch that operates alarm and inside light is bad, the switch is located on the latch, the latch may need to be removed to replace the switch. some dealers do not sell just the switch, i have run into this problem where switch is not replaceable the complete latch needs to be replaced.

Another problem i have run into is the wiring going into the hatch breaks, the wiring from bendine due to door opening and closing breaks a wire or two due to bending , locate wiring coming into rear hatch and check each wire,

Hi Johnny, would it be possible for you to email me the fuel pump wiring diagram you have posted? Thanks.

Did you get the question i sent you about the engine size?, i will do this, here are nthe diagrams. The engine component wiring is diffrent due to the fact that two type engines come in this car, i have sent you the wiring diagram for the 2.5 engine, the wiring for the fuelpump is wired the same as the 3.0 engine but if you need to check other components and you have the 3.0 engine then let me know and i will send the wiring for the 3.0. locate the fuelpump on the page and then you can follow the wiring to the computer and other locations, hope this is helpful please let me know that you have received this . good day.10_21_2011_11_32_16_pm.gif10_21_2011_11_32_34_pm.gif10_21_2011_11_32_54_pm.gif

need to load test battery, this vehicle will not start or power up engine ECU if battery voltage is dropping to 10 volts or below while cranking. so if starter is clicking some times due to low voltage engine will not fire up(start) but cranks over seemingly fine. also when not starting does check engine light flash at all?
check all earths after checking battery with load tester if battery is ok then there was problems with immobiliser modules causing this fault and there is a revised module for this as well as checking wiring for key reader to immobiliser, also are there any aftermarket electronics fitted to vehicle? which could be causing problem due to location and wiring into vehicle.

2007 mazda 3 check engine light on. Shop says need o2 sensors replaced. Where are they located. Also, AC is blowing warm air. How do I diagnose?

o2 sensors are usually located on the outside of the exhaust pipe under the car right after the engine and transmission, they have a wire going to them and usually are very seized due to many heating and cooling periods. As far as the A/C, you can turn on your ac and see if the clutch kicks in on the ac pump pulley to cool. You can also buy a set of gauges from an auto parts store to see if it is low on refrigerant for about 30$

Engine missing when first starting in cold

This could be due to a malfunctioing coolant sensor. It is located near the thermostat housing. It may be stuck in cold operation mode. You are probably getting bad gas mileage too. Make sure air filter is clean too. Good luck!
