If the amplifier is on the radio's motherboard then you can't really do that unless there are output jacks on it.

I have a 2004 saturn ion redline i need to know how to bypass the factory amp

Connect the "speaker" outputs (probably actually low level outputs) from the radio to the amplifier you plan to use and connect the speaker outputs from the factory amp to the speaker outputs of the amplifier you plan to use. The radio will not work without a separate amplifier.

Table 4: XM Advisory Messages
The radio receives power from the RADIO fuse in the junction block-right I/P. Ground is provided via G201 and G202. The radio is enabled/disabled by class 2 messages from the body control module (BCM). The radio routes audio signals from the digital radio receiver or the vehicle communication interface module (VCIM) to the speakers and/or amplifier when directed by class 2 messages.
The Entertainment System on this vehicle is configured with an AM/FM stereo radio with the radio data system (RDS) and either a cassette player or a CD player or both. CD and cassette. The uplevel system provides the customer with extended range speakers and an audio amplifier. Satellite digital radio (U2K) is available with uplevel systems.
The following list shows the radios available for this vehicle:
• Radio (ULO) - AM/FM Stereo, Cassette with RDS
• Radio (UNO) - AM/FM Stereo, CD and RDS
• Radio (UPO) - AM/FM Stereo, Cassette with CD and RDS .The complexity of the radio systems on these vehicle is mind blowing .

Your best bet take it to a GM dealer , has features you are unawear of .
DTC B1025, B1035, B1045, or B1055
When the radio is powered up, the radio supplies low level audio signals to the speakers. If the vehicle is equipped with an audio amplifier, the amplifier will boost the signal sent to the speakers.
DTC B1025 Audio Output Circuit
Install a scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
With the scan tool, monitor the DTC Information for DTC B1025.
Does the scan tool indicate that DTC B1025 is current?

Have a 02 park avenue an tha radio comes on cd player and tape player works but no sound coming from tha speakers whats tha problem

These cars have an Amplifier to run the speakers. The amp is normally in the truck between the rear 6x9 speakers. The amp is probably fried. You can buy bypass wire harnesses on Ebay that will bypass the failing amp, or simply get a new one.

see this steps and fix it God bless you
It is overheating due to power issues. Check your power ratings to be sure they match the amplifier's specifications. There is a problem with the amplifier. If the power ratings are correct, the amplifier needs to be sent to a service center. There is a problem in the sound system or wiring. Try swapping amplifiers or bypassing that amp. If the problem persists on the right channel on both amps, check the wiring and sound system. There is a problem with the amplifier. Replace the amplifier that displays the problem or send it to a service center .

You nailed it on the head, take the fuse out of the amp.... Or cut and cap the wires but I would just take the fuse out... There is no simpler way.

Installed a Sony Xplode into a 99 Blazer and everything on the radio works but will not play through the speakers

The Bose system is complex - it has an amplifier separate from the Bose compatible radio. This amplifier takes low level audio signals from the radio, not full driver outputs from a replacement radio, and by trying to use the replacement radio you may have blown the amplifier. If that is the case, you may not be able to go back to the original radio.
The only option you may have with the replacement will be to find the Bose amplifier and bypass the connections to feed the replacement radio outputs directly to the speakers. This may not be as simple as it sounds, as distribution to the various speakers comes from the amplifier, not the radio, and the wiring from the amplifier to the radio may not have all the wires you need. Before going on, you had better get a wiring diagram for the Bose system (service manual or Alldatadiy.com).
