Question about 1998 Honda Passport
It has two V belts ,and itys not difficult to do but the biggest problem is the compressor its its a kinsin or something similar and no spares are available ,it has two snail shells inside not pistons and this is the problem the thinest edge breaks up so i would advise you to remove the restrictor valve block and give it a good blow with airline as the bits get everywhere inside ,The cost of a new compressor is around 900euros plus tax and i tried to get a recon unit even the internet but drew a blank so it was dealer only.In the end the customer decided it was easier to trade vehicle in for a new one than pay all that money out on an old car .
