Replace brake light switch. It's mounted just above brake pedal under dash

Tail lights do not extinguish on my 95 talon

Get a hammer...no just kidding. Look into your brake light switch and it's adjustment. Pull the wires off and see if lights go out. if so, investigate adjustment or switch function.

95 towncar wont shift and brake lights dont come on...is not fuse?

I'd double check all fuses good, then test brake switch, under dash at top of pedal arm, to see if it's functioning properly.

Brake lights wont work.

try taking a wire brush to all the ground wire ports on your vehicule specialy the ones in the rear of the vehicule sometimes rusty ground wires make very bad connections. if so when you are done put some grease on them to avoid future rust. hope this coul help you.

Brake lights do not work.Running lights work, turn signal works, bulbs are good and fuses are good under dash. thank u jim

there should be a switch on upper portion of your brake pedal that connects the brake light circut when you apply the brakes. inspect it and try shorting the two wires together when you do you should have lights. if that works replace the switch
