You may have a freon leak, have some UV dye put in and have it charged up with freon, and oil. When it gets to where it does not cool,or does not come on,then have the leak checked with the UV light and then you can repair it,do not use the red dye that is in a charge can,you will never find the leak,If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Is the charge of r134a gone? If it is, you have a leak somewhere. Also, does the a/c compressor work assuming there is a sufficient refrigerant charge?

Also, does the fan go on for the radiator when the a/c is turned on?
And, also, are the fuses ok for the a/c? And, does the relay get power for the a/c compressor?

Hope this helps!

Replaced compressor last summer on my daughters car, was very cold last summer but this year blows hot checked freon levels, but were fine any answers would be appreciated.

If the ac compressor is running and the line is cold, it could be a blend door under the dash that is not cutting off air flow thru the heater.

If you have a door window that works, then the problem with the other doors is in the motor or wiring to that motor. There is only one circuit breaker and one relay to all the door windows.

My experience with A/C Condensors is that you can take it to a Radiator Shop that welds aluminum and they can repair it by welding the hole closed. I had it done twice on my truck's condensor and it works great. To try and resolve the problem you can put some fine mesh screen in front of the condensor to keep debris from puncturing it.

My a/c was working perfect last summer and now this summer i turn it on and it works for 20 minutes and then warm air blows out. what could the problem be? and could i repair it on my own?

Dear,

please get the compressor, condensor, gas level checked from the workshop.

as it seems to have less refrigent in the condensor.

Airconditioner

Take it to a pro, too many a.c systems have been ruined due to those little cans of gas from walmart.

If you put too much in the high side pressure will blow a hose or cause cracks in the condensor or evaporator core which means $$$$$$$$$$$$

My wife and I have an 2004 Dodge Stratus and there is a leak somewhere on the driver's side that leaks in by the pedals. We had the windshield replace last summer, but it still leaks, any ideas?

It may be the air conditioner condensor. They do have tendency to build moisture and leak by the feet. A bad window or door seal will cause this but only if it had rained.

Chances are that if nothing over the winter poked a hole in the condensor, 1 or more of the O-rings that are at each joint / connection, has dried out therefore allowing the refrigerant to leak past the seal. Have a qualified tech check it to be sure. The cost may be a minimal 1.

Nissan Altima not reversing sometimes

good day;
When was the transmission fluid and filter changed last? Could be that the fluid is dirty and the valve for the reverse gear is blocked. Let me know how you make out.

Cheers.
