In my 1997 Cadillac Deville there is a knob that controls cooler or hotter on the armrest of the passenger side. Does your system have an adjustment for temperature hotter or colder (chrysler)? If it's adjusted the same and it still does it, then there's a problem with the door behind the dash board.

It can be just a tad low on freon,or the temp door actuator is not moving all the way for the cool, but it is most likely just a little low on freon.

A/c is cold on passenger side but not that cold on driver side there is dual temp control

If there is a dual temp control, set it in the middle so that both sides will have equal temperatures.

Otherwise, may have a defective unit.

May be in the vacuum control of the doors that make it warmer or colder for passenger relative to the driver's side.

Hope this helps.

My 2002 chrysler town and country is blowing extremely hot air out of driver side vents even when temp set to 59 degrees...other vents work according to what they are set on. I have ATC...PLEASE HELP!

there is a control module behind the glove box, about 2 in. by 3 in. It will have a metal cooling thing on the green chip. That may be your problem. That definately sounds weird. Do you have the 3 zone climate control?

My 2002 town and country has the same air con problem.

BOTH SIDES ARE CONTROLED FROM THE SAME COIL FOR AIL SUPPLY BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A DAMPER THAT IS NOT OPENING TO THE AC COIL. ON THE NEWER MODELS THESE DAMPERS ARE VACUME OPERATED SO I WOULD CHECK THE VACUME LINES FROM THE CONTROL PANEL ,ON THE DASH. IF YOU HAVE KIDS SOME TIMES THEY MAY LAY THINGS ON THE DASH AND SOMETHING SMALL MAY HAVE DROPPED DOWN AND HAS THE DAMPER TO THE DRIVERS SIDE BLOCKED SHUT. THIS IS NOT AN EASY FIX
