If it is just the pulley, and not the compressor, then yes,the bearing for this is replacable for about 20 dollars or less, but if the compressor is locked up,you will have to replace the whole ac compressor, and it`s components.

It does take a special tool, you most likely can get this done at a shop,it will be a lot cheaper than replacing the whole ac compressor, and it`s components.

The Air conditioning unit pulley seized up. What is the name of the part? What can i do to replace it?

It's the A/C clutch pulley. There is a special tool required to remove and replace it. You may want to check around for prices on the whole unit. you may spend more for the clutch and tool than the compressor.

Replacing an air conditioning compressor clutch.

The clutch is heat pressed on and usually can't be removed without a spread press,Usually the whole compressor is replaced due to the price of clutch repair.

Air condition warm air. put in coolant freon but still warm air. water pump replaced. still the same.

If it has climate control, the blended air door module behind the glovebox maybe the problem. It is stuck on the hot side.

WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER OR DEFROST IS TURNED ON, MY ENGINE KILLS.

Inspect the air conditioning compressor for being siezed up. Not the clutch on the front, but the actual compressor. I suspect it is the problem.

How do you change the pulley on the air conditioner motor on a 1993 s-10 blazer?

Hello, first of all you need to loosen your fan belt that drives your air conditioning pump. You then need to remove the nut that holds the pulley on. Then using what is called a pulley puller or clamp which is basically a three ponged devise with a nut in the center you screw it inward. The three arms clamp behind the pulley and slowly pull the pulley off. To put the new pulley on you gently tap it in place with a hammer and a piece of wood. Dont belt it hard and dont hit the pulley directly with the hammer. I hope this is helpful.

03 chevy blazer stalls when air is turned on

Well I may need more information, but if something electrical loaded your engine to the point of a stall, i would expect fire soon. So most likely the fan motor is eliminated.

Now the A/C compressor, damaged and refusing to turn may be able to stall an idling engine, with todays cool serpentine belts... (In the olden days a belt would burn through and come off.)

The cheap solution to this condition is to turn off the car, and CAREFULLY unplug the compressor's electrical connection. Securely tie the wires out of the way, and test again...

You may want to consider repairing it, however, because the principle of refrigeration is a KEY COMPONENT to defrost in the winter...

Why? Because everyone knows a car air conditioner pulls moisture out, right? That crystal clear water that leaks out under air conditioned cars....
WELL, in the winter, rainy weather for example, is moisture. ....No remove moisture and no defogg.
