My radiator of my Hyundai 1997 model are boiling. what can i do

Check radiator cap for good fitment.
If good..
There are two hoses to and from engine to radiator. Upper should be warmer than lower one as it warms up. Hot coolant leaves motor, goes through radiator comes out cooler k?
Is it circulating when hot? Don't let get to hot though, but verify that thermostat is opening up.
You think it's faulty.? Drain coolant, remove hose that thermostat is behind, remove thermostat and take in the house. Put water in pan like a 2 quart type. Put in one quart water. Look at thermostat. This is how it looks closed. Boil water, 220 is perfect above 212 but not 300...k
Drop in thermostat into boiling water carefully..hot..
Let set in there 23 seconds...
Remove with salad tongs..that step is critical...i used a piece of wire once that I tied around it ahead of time but that was to easy .
Look at hot thermostat...is it different? Is it open? No ? Go to ripoff zone and get new one and new radiator cap, and new antifreeze, reassemble in reverse, put in new 50/50 mix.
Drive car, enjoy your repair and the 200 buck you saved yourself. Drive to dairy queen..eat multiple treats...go to bar..party time!!
If this wasn't sufficient to fix, dang, check water pump. Pray it's water pump...good. oh no. . Check oil for anti freeze and vice versa...probably head gasket.. oh no!!!

If 03 Tiburon over heets will it have trouble cranking

Depends on why it overheated. If it's dangerously low on coolant, your car may have a sensor that will shut the car off. It's a safety feature to keep you from damaging your engine. l'm sure it also has one for low oil pressure. If it overheated recently, it may not crank. If you have a temperature sensor, it may not be cooled off enough to start it safely. Make absolutely certain you've got enough coolant and the right mixture in your radiator/cooling system, and make sure the oil level is full. Low oil can also cause your engine to run hot.

Have an 03 chevy impala runs hot but radiator cap is cold can put water in it and leaks out

What is your question? You should not operate a vehicle that overheats. You should not put just plain water in a cooling system for a car. You can see the leak? You should get it fixed before any more damage happens to the engine. Failure to keep the engine cool can cause a host of problems and none of them are cheap to fix.

03 Hyundai Tiburon keeps over heating and has no warm air.

the heater core could be stopped up not letting the liquid circulate or if there is a switch or a thermostat in heater hose it may be broke not letting the coolant flow .radiator cap bad .all these things can make the system lose a little coolant at a time until it is to low to cool then it will run hot & boil the rest out.check these things.i wish you luck all things can be a pain in the astric if you know what i mean

I have a 1994 chevy caprice classic. Put brand new radiator, water pump and thermostat even put new fan motors but it keeps running hot and water in the collant jug keeps bubbling after ive been driving...

CHECK WHETHER THE COOLANT IS PROPERLY CIRCULATING.ALSO CHECK WHETHER THE RADIATER PIPES ARE NOT CLOGGED.ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO USE DISTILLED WATER RATHER THAN NORMAL WATER WHILE MIXING IT WITH COOLANT. ALSO CHECK THE TEMPERATURE SWITCH ATTACHED TO THE RADIATER. A FAULTY RADIATOR CAN STOP THE FANS FROM COOLING.

'98 dodge neon 2.0 dohc runs hot,new head gasket, radiator cap,no leaks or water in oil,new temp sensor, could bad intake gasket cause this?

Hi, Check the right amount of water it's holding if it is not as much as should be then what will clean all out is water mixed with caustic soda. Take great care use gloves ensure you don't go onto anything except inside your radiator & engine heater etc ONLY! run the engine so water gets hot when its run hot for ten minutes approx, drain this out REMEMBER THIS IS ACID. So take GREAT CARE. Clean your drains at home out for instance, This should have cleaned any blockage rust etc. After draining let cool a little 10 minuets then start engine & start to refill with antifreeze/water mixture by running the engine with your heater turned on to hot as well this should ensure no air locks & now the problem should be solved. My 2000 hyundai tiburon keeps overheating. I've

With the motor cold, I would remove the drive belt and try to turn the water pump pulley by hand. It should move freely and only make a gurgling noise like water moving inside the motor but should not make any metal on metal noise if it's working properly. This is likely your cause. The water will only weap out of the pump when the shaft of the pump is turning thus the intermmittent leak when you park.

Also the radiator cap was probably removed to perform the leak check but you have to inspect the radiator cap itself. If the o-rings in the cap are worn you could lose pressure in the system and even though you might not see the liquid coming from the cap it could be shooting out through a rubber hose near the cap. If the water pump checks out I would try a new radiator cap.

Engine overheat, A/C shut off, fan hot

Chances are that your engine is ok. Bad engine overheating can seize the engine. Less extensive overheating can crack the engine especially the cylinder head and lead to power loss or mixing of water and engine oil. If water is mixing with oil, the oil looks milky. If your car is not losing power and the oil looks normal then chances are that there was no damage to your engine.

Just make sure that whatever caused the overheating in the first place is sorted out - perhaps the radiator flushing resolved the cause of the overheating.

Engine coolant has turned to a gel and engine overheated

The reason that your anti-freeze is gelling in your rad is that the mixture of anti-freeze and water is too weak. this could be because of old anti-freeze(same as oil,it deteriorates over time, usually 2 to 5 years), or there could just be too much water added. I would suggest a cooling system flush, and re-fill with a new 50/50 mixture of water and anti-freeze.
