Question about GMC Sierra 2500
If you can shift the transmission manually,by moving the shifter from d1 on up,then it is most likely the governor has trash in it,and would have to be removed and cleaned,or the valve body in the transmission is not working,the valves are stuck,I would try a synthetic additive called Lube Guard,it treats the valve body,and allows the valves to move freely.
