If it is the hose that goes to the radiator it is called the top hose and I'm not kidding. most autoparts will ask for a vin number so you get the right 1

NEED HELP, ANYBODY , I DROP A BOLT FROM THE WATER PUMP INSIDE THE ENGINE COOLING BLOCK WHEN I WAS CLEANING THE BLOCK TO INSTALL A NEW WATER PUMP IN A 1994 FORD RANGER, CAN I JUST LEAVE IT INSIDE THE BLOCK...

You probably can, and here's why.
See if this is true on your Ranger.
Most cars and trucks have the water pump connected to the lower radiator hose.
The way it works, the pump pulls (sucks) the water from the bottom of the radiator and pushes it throughout the moter, where it returns in the top hose to be cooled in the radiator.
The flow is from top to bottom in the radiator.
Unless that bolt is so small it eventually winds up blocking your thermostat, it should probably stay in the water jacket.
If it blocks the thermostat some day, it may be retreivable in the thermostat hole.
Blessings to you.

usaully a hole near the shaft of a water pump is a weep hole and if water or antifreeze is coming out, your water pump seal is bad and pump needs replaced.

I have a 1999 f350 deisel i cant get the heat to blow warm or hot it only comes out cool

OK, first make sure that both heater hoses are hot, if they are then there is a little moter in the dash called a blend door actuater it moves the blend door from hot to cold it can be a pain to change. now if you have one hot hose and one cold hose you need a heater core and it is a major job to replace it now here is were it gets a little tricky in the past 3 or 4 weeks we have had 2 ford trucks come in with no or little heat and both heater hoses were just luke warm and after replacing the heater core and still not getting any heat we found that the impeller on the water pump was rusted away it still moved just enough water to keep the truck from overheating but not enough to supply the heater core.. I hope this helps GOOD LUCK

This morning drove to pick up daughter and suddenly a loud sucking of air sound started from under the hood of my 01 ford escape, went to AutoZone and replaced a hose with a hole and the EGR(?) valve which...

Sounds like u may have clogged catalytic convertor-very common on these, causing excessive backpressure which is putting holes in the hoses. If the hoses with hole are the 2 rubber ones going to a sensor, you need to make sure you get special hose from Ford called DPFE hose. It is high heat resistant.

I HAVE A HOLE IN THE PIPE THAT GOES TO THE REAR

if your really luckey you can simply run a bypass
crawl under the car and look there you should see the lines follow them back under the car to the engine if you are luckey there is rubber at the end run new rubber heater hose to the back heater clamp it on and away you go if the hose too expensive or un available just run a joiner in the front and clamp it into a loop
