Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE
Try checking air filter and the box it's in and the hose leading to the engine.this i believe is vacuum problem.if there is a leak,it will stall at low speed.if not that,pcv valve or vacuum lines.if you need to figure out what's what,local libraries usually have haynes manuals with everything about the car.auto idles usually don't give problems,but if nothing else works it could be that.gas is made clean enough these days so that it should not be a gas related issue.
