You can get a defective Battery. Go to Autozone or Oreillys and get the Battery tested and then bring the Lincoln in for an Alternator scan. When you pull the Battery out of its mount, look for FUSIBLE link wires in that area which could have been pinched when the Battery was changed. With Luck you're fixed.

Now the bad news. If the Air ride was not turned off when the Rotors and Brakes were done, the books say it can harm the Suspension. Since the Airride is Automatic, it can drain the Battery if it runs when it should not. There is a Diagnostic plug for the Airride, but you would have to call to see if they have the extra scanner for this special plug.

While you would want the Brake place to be Responsible for the damage, it may be better to have a 3rd party test your Airride.

Remote key

Yes - Sometimes when the battery is replaced the key program can be corrupted. It would be a starting point to have the key reprogrammed just to eliminate it as a source of trouble.

I'm driving a 2000 Chrysler 300M. Had front brake pads & rotors changed 2 weeks ago. Front end has been noisy since & I suspect sticking calipers , as i was informed they did not get clean

The front calipers are not the problem...did a shop replace the pads and rotors? Or did a friend replace these parts. The Chrysler front pads and rotors are an excellent design...easy to service and replace parts...only 2 bolts hold on each caliper, and the rotor is held in place with the caliper, and wheel. My first thought was a front wheel bearing is grinding, but you should have noticed this before the brake parts change. The pads could be installed backwards second thought was you may have a loose wheel or two...retighten all 5 lug nuts by using the "star" tightening method, you may be surprised that the loose lug nuts are the only problem. Hope this helps.

I have a problem with my 2005 Crossfire not starting after sitting for a couple of days. I don't drive it every day and it may sit for any where from 7-12 days at a time. But when I go to start it, it's...

new cars have a lot of things running in the back ground, you can hook and AMP meter on the battery and see how much it pulls just sitting there, then one by one unplug fuses and see if maybe a relay has welded its self closed and drawing more current then it should in the off postion. if possible hook a battery tender to your car and plug it in, it will keep a small amount of current going to the battery and should keep the battery charged.

Front brakes make noise when applied after installing new pads.

it could be because they are dirty. also the noise could be the back brakes. if its a squeaking noise it could be that they are dirty or that they are cheep brake pads and for the first couple of weeks they squeak. also when you got your breaks changed did the break shop cut the rotors because that cleans them up and makes the rotors like new.

Aurora 2001. Car can't sit for 2 days untill the car is deader than a door nail. Have tried turning everything off except security light. They tell me everything checks out ok. Battery is new

It may take a while to do this - take out one fuse at a time and let it set for the same time period that now kills it. You will eventually find one that being out does not kill the battery. Then you know exactly where to look.

1992 cavalier brakes hard when not running soft when started changed the booster (used) pads are good shape, rotors ok, changed master(used) Bleeded them still the same. maybe new rotors and pads? vacume...

Bad vacum or a bad master.... rotor and pad would have no affect on petal feel. never use used parts in a brake system, new or remanufactured only!!
