Question about 1997 GMC Sonoma
This sounds like a bad fuelpump, try spraying starting fluid in throtle instead of pouring gas, when you pour gas it may not enter all cylinders it may just sit in intake galley. try the starting fluid.also have someone crank the engine while you beat on bottom of gas tank with a rubber hammer, this sometimes shakes fuelpump and make a contact to get pump going again.
