It sounds like your blower motor has died. This is pretty common for older Bonnevilles. I have a 2005 Bonny and replaced mine last year after 75,000 miles.
But first check your cabin filter. You may or may not have one. If you do, and it gets plugged up, you will get very low air flow. I had an Impala that get plugged with a mouse nest. If it's like mine, open the hood, and above the firewall on the passenger side and below the passenger wiper, is a cover labeled "air filtration system". It has a couple clips, remove it and look inside. It will be very obvious if you have a cabin filter. (I didn't have one) If there is no filter, you should be able to look down in the hole and see the white fan blades about 10-12 inches down. They should be spinning if the blower is on.

zeevert_3.jpg If fuse looks OK. It's probably the blower fan.
The fan is under the dash on the passenger side... just about where the passengers left toe would be.
Remove the panel under the dash; probably a couple 7mm screws.
Unplug the fan. The center wire should have 12+volts.
Remove the rubber vent hose... kinda on the back of the motor.
Remove 3 screws. Probably 7mm. And the blower should come out.

Where is the " Outside " air vent located? the " circulation " button is for " inside " air only.

Normally the system pulls outside air in unless you select defrost or push the "circ" button to override the system. The outside air comes in from the area in front of the windshield.

Why wont the heater blow out hot air in my 1995 pontiac bonneville. it will only blow cool air

If the heater hoses are getting hot, the problem may be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

No cold air from air conditioner on 1997 Pontiac Bonneville

they saw you coming from way off
try and find an accredited ac specialist that will do a diagnosis for you to tell you what is wrong
flushing is well and good but unnecessary and once the system has been opened , it requires to be vacuumed down for around 1 hour to allow the moisture in the system to boil off
if that is not done then when the liquid gas is allowed to evaporate in the evaporator under the dash , ice forms in the TX valve and it stops the system from working

AC not cool

Check the a/c lines entering the firewall. Large hose should be cold and small line warm-hot.If o/k, may have vacumm leak to underdash control. If vacumm is lost the system will revert to heat and defrost. Could also be the air blend door is stuck. Maybe something dropped down defrost vent on dash. If this helps Please rate

replace the air conditioner relay, its located underneath the hood, you will see the relay center there, look underneath the cap to identify which is the ac relay switch.

A/C air flow problem

AC works as so..

It does not actually cool the air, however it removes the heat from it (and without heat the air feels cool). As the air is blown around the car the AC system removes the heat from the air, and then it moves it to the condenser at the front of the car (infront of the radiator).

Now usually the car is moving forward, so that air flow will cool the condenser and then you can move more heat from the air inside the car and push it out the front of the car again. This is why, if you have a front wheel drive car, you will hear the cars fan start as soon as you turn the AC on.

Also the car will be much better at cooling the air that is recirculating inside the car (your a/c system will have a button for this) then if it tries to cool hot air from outside.

The long and short of it is that if you hop in a hot car, start the car and run the ac (even at full) it wont be cool straight away, it is mostly influenced by how much you are driving forward.

Try this. Start the car, turn the AC to recirculate the air, turn the AC on and go for a drive for 10 mins, pull over and wind down the window. Compare the outside air to the inside air, then you will see the difference.
