Just follow the 'thicker' pipes from the compressor up to where the quick connect nozzle is which has a plastic screw on cap on it.

My car didn't take the R-134a

If your car ac is not taking in refrigerant, it could be caused by several things.
If you have recently done work on the system and you are going to fill the system the first time, you will need to pull a very deep vacuum before trying to charge in refrigerant. If you have already properly evacuated the system and having problems getting the correct charge adjusted, you may be having problem with pressure equilizing between the refrigerant source and your ac system. To get the refrigerant going again, you need to connect the charging hose on the low pressure side of the ac system and turn the fan and ac on cool. The pressure in the ac system on the low pressure side will get lower than the pressure in the refrigerant container and flow will start. When charging initially, charge liquid on the high pressure side and with the ac system running, charge gas on the low pressure side. To charge liquid, invert most container so spout is down, to charge gas, keep container right side up. Charging by gas help you to not over charge your system. Beware on most vehicle ac systems the suction and discharge connections are two different sizes and require the proper adapter. If you still having problems creating a pressure difference to move refrigerant, you can try immersing the refrigerant container in warm water or applying warm air to the exterior of the container.
Hope this helps.

Danger! Always connect the charge fitting to the low side of the system and use the proper refrigerant. All low side fittings have been the same since around 1993. It looks like you are trying to apply the charge to the high side of the system. THIS CAN CAUSE THE CAN TO EXPLODE. Find the low side charge fitting. The low side will have a wider hose or tubing. A 134A charge kit will have the proper fitting to fit your car. The fitting might be hidden but when you find it the charge connector will fit on it.I recommend you use a charge kit with a pressure gauge. On a hot day it should read about 30-40 psi

Where is the low ac port on 1999 Mitsubishi gst

The charging port is in the low side AC line from the AC compressor on the engine, the low side line is the larger of the two lines coming from the AC compressor.

I need to recharge a/c and can't find low side.

To find the r134a low side, just follow the 'thicker' tubing from the a/c compressor to the fitting that the technician would use to charge the low pressure side. The thinner tubing goes to the high side, so don't try to connect the fill tube to that (don't worry, it won't fit anyway).

If you are gonna charge Freon, you are looking for the LOW SIDE pressure valve. Most of the time its located on the low pressure hose or the evaporator itself.Look for a HUGE black cap most of the time its that color your freon can if it came with a hose attached will only fit the low side connection.

HOW TO CHARGE A/C FOR 2000 MERCURY SABLE

Your car uses r134a and can be charged using a kit that contains a quick connect tube and the can of r134a with sealant and oil.

Run the car with a/c on max. fan and make sure the compressor clutch is turning.

Connect the tube with the can to the low side service port which may have a blue cap on it.

Don't worry, the quick connector only connects to the low side port.

Hope this helps.

CHARGING THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Where is the valve to connect the refill cylinder?

not sure what you mean by refill cylinder, but there are two ports to charge a a/c system, low side and high side, you fill on the low side, if you are using a can you bought from wal mart or a auto parts store than most come with a small hose that connects from the can to the port, you cannot mess it up, the hose will only connect to the low side port, the high and low side ports are two different sizes, one is located on top of the engine by the suge tank area, the other is located/accessed from under the front right of the car, look for a big hose coming from the a/c compressor and just follow it till you find the port, the big hose is your low side hose.

Re-charge a/c in a 98 ford escort zx2

Your low side should have a "blue cap" on it. If it does not, it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle near the firewall.

Need to find the low side a/c connect to charge my a/c...help.

The factory doesn't provide a stand alone low side charging port, the only way I see to get to it is to take off the low pressure switch, and hook your gauges to the schrader valve. This will require an adapter, though.
On my diagrams it shows straight across from the high pressure port, and is the only opening to the low pressure line.
When you take it loose, jumper the terminals together in the wiring harness, so the compressor will still run and you can charge it.
On your car it is (low press switch) on the passenger side connected to the big AC line, in front of the firewall about 1/4 of the way from the firewall to the front of the car, under some hoses
