    dear fobara

you said nothing wrong just your comment on fuel consumption was not based on fact. I have tested the vehicle consumption based on the full tank/refil test twice.

the first test was a return trip of 130 miles which was motor way & city driving. the MPG was 43.6. the second trip was the same distance but no traffic was involved and was done at 2 am midweek. the result of this test was 44.1 MPG.

I also contacted the manufacturers distributor in Ireland and they confirmed this was about average consumption. Their lab tests brought the vehicle in at around 52 MPG at 56 MPH.

However the speed of my tests ranged from 120 KPH/72mph so one tends to use more fuel.

apologies if you took offence, none was intended.

    regards

    Did I say something wrong?

I gave you something to compare with and I've got this kind of rating?

    Very nice of you.

Well , you will never get the mileage that posted on the sticker when the car is sold , factory test is in a perfect conditions , slow take off , no hard accelerating , they drive it like an old lady to get max MPG.Then they advertise it .

Since we don't have this cars here, it was my assuming that you still doing very good , cause I have a lot of Toyota Prius(hybrid) customers and even though it suppouse to get 60MPG , nobody could really reach that point. 50 is everage.

Your car is not hybrid ( I think ), so compairing to hybrid it's almost equel. That's why I said you doing good.

    Regards,

    G.

What is the fuel consumption on 2007 opel corsa 1400i lite hatchback

Hi Adel,

About 9.5 to 10 Km/L... (
realistically)

Here in the USA we don't speak much metric
but I know our EPA ratings (miles per gallon) are
almost always pure fantasy...

Opels (admire though I may (QUIT in 1975))
have not been deliberately imported here for 41 years...

What that in metric?

Check an Opel web-site (with a lot of whining going on)
9.5 to 10 Km/L... That would be PARTY TIME here.

My 156 sportswagon is burning fuel badly i put 2 gallons in and only got 31 miles for this i can hear an air leak coming from top of engine would this be a likley cause for such poor fuel consumption it's...

an air leak would weaken the mix of fuel to air so giving you better fuel efficiency but a poor power output.
was my last answer not to your liking, re **** fuel consumption on all fiat/alpha cars.but it is true, ask any owner........14.7 average mpg.......£205 road tax.....(tax it for a year and quadruple its value...)
