SOURCE: changing timing belt
LINE THE POINT ON THE CAMSHAFT SPROCKET WITH THE DIMPLE IN THE HEAD, THEN THERE WILL BE A NOTCH IN THE CRANKSHAFT SPROCKET THAT LINES UP WITH THE NOTCH RIGHT ABOVE IT, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND IT! MAKE SURE IT IS THE SPROCKET AND NOT THE PULLEY CAUSE IF I REMEMBER RIGHT THEY AREN'T THE SAME.

Testimonial: "thank you"
Support the engine with the floor jack and remove the right
hand side motor mount and bracket. Raise the engine slightly and remove
the timing belt cover and the crankshaft pulley bolt and the pulley.
Turn the engine clockwise until the crankshaft timing marks are lined
up. There is a triangular mark on the crankshaft and a plate with a mark
at 12 o'clock on the block. The camshaft has a triangular mark on the
sprocket and a dot on the block at 12 o'clock that must line up.

The timing marks are a arrow on your cam gear, and a dot on your cylinder head; align them.
Your crank gear has a tab, and the engine has a groove; align them.
After aligning the marks and putting your timing belt on, turn the engine 2 complete turns to insure the marks are still aligned; As long as the marks still align, you're done.
I hope this helps you, and if you need further assistance let me know.
