You can try disconnecting the negative battery for 25 seconds,if this does not help, drive the vehicle about 2 miles or so,it may take more, and then shut the vehicle off,and then start it back up,it should go out,but if not, auto zone can do this for free with there code reader. If this was at all helpful, please rate, and thank you.

A bad injector will cause a misfire. You need to replace it and see if the issue is corrected.

The air intake on my 1999 Buick Century is not working properly. The car will not idle and it keeps rocking like it wants to surge. couldI be missing a seal?

You may have a bad plenum and are getting blow back. While the engine is running remove the oil filler cap and see if it changes the way the vehicle is running. The Buick they used a plastic plenum and it was a bad design for GM they are famous for problems.

Did you check your oil level? Is the oil light on? (No oil pressure) try changing oil & install an engine additive for noisey lifters, If none of this works need to place lifters

ok since you said you changed the plug and coil pack, start with the injector wire harness and look it over for any shorts or grounds, also make sure the terminals on the no.2 injector connector aren't loose. if you have access to a noid light you can check to make sure the injector is pulsing. check the no.2 plug wire as well. swap it with another wire if you can and see if the miss follows the plug wire. if those fail to solve your problem and the misfire remains on the no.2 cyl, try swapping an injector. if that also fails then you may have a problem with the cyl head.

Do a balance test on the injectors. Remove one injector plug one at a time. Each time you remove one you should have a miss. All 6 should have the same miss. You could have an injector going bad.
