SOURCE: Need to replace the driver's door interior door opening assembly

Hi there.

The procedure is roughly the same for all mk3 x types.
You need to remove all the screws on the armrest and on the ashtray, then undo all the plastic clips using screwdrivers on the panel.

You find detailed instructions on links below, I quote:

" remove two screws at the bottom of the armrest.
pull out ash tray.
remove screw in the middle of the ash tray holder.
pull up on armrest, it should pop up, then pull it out
start at bottom right of door and start popping out the plastic clips (all the way around the door)
(remove speaker wires)
push up door panel - done"

SOURCE: Remove interior door panel on 2003 BMW 330I

I am assuming that you have a 4 door sedan. If you want to remove the front door panel, it is held on with 4 or 5 torx screws, Under the armrest you will see 2 plastic cap covers. Gently pry the covers loose and the screws are inside. T20 I think. Where the inside release handle is you probably have a decorative strip(wood grain or painted plastic). At the end farthest from the handle, use a plastic wedge, or flat popsicle stick to pry the corner loose and gently pull the strip toward you. There will be 2 more screws under it. If your door has a plastic airbag emblem there is a screw under it. Otherwise there should be 1 screw hiding under the mirror switc on the armrest, or mirror switch cover. Using a small flat edge wedge pry between the panel and body at bottem until the panel pops loose.work your way around the entire panel. The top panel near the glass pulls toward you. Once the entire panel is loose, grabbing the armrest, pull the panel straight upwards. Be careful when pulling up as to not pull too far. Your inner release cable is attached on the backside. When reinstalling the panel make sure that the rubber grommets are on the panel clips..they help keep water out.

SOURCE: How to remove interior door panel on 2002 chrysler t & c???

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

How to remove car door panel

The door panel is held in place by 2-6 screws and several clips. Remove the screw from the handle and lever under the plastic caps. The speaker may be secured to the door with 3 screws (this varies per vehicle). The is a small plastic cover near the side mirror that must be removed with care. It pulls straight out, but the metal clip in the plastic may need help from a flat blade screwdriver.

There are several screws that hold the plastic rain shield in place. Remove the rain shield carefully.

Additionally, there are several videos on YouTube that demonstrate the process. The last one I viewed missed the screws in the door in my 2001 Odyssey.

2011 honda odyssey door panel remove

For my 2011 odyssey: To get that last pesky bottom nut for the side mirror, I found you only need to unscrew the 2 screws at the door handle, and pop off the bottom inside of the door cover and pull the upper part of the door back where the nut is (pry back with screwdriver if necessary). Then I was able to get it on with my fingers and screw tight with wrench. Also, if the nut falls off, it will come out the bottom. Way to make it simple HONDA!!! :)

2002 honda odyssey power sliding door roller replacement. Is this a hard job to do?

Not very difficult if like my '99. Be sure to purchase the correct hinge for "power" door. Here are the steps:
  • Remove rear tail light (2 screws and pull from socket)
  • Remove two screws from rear of hinge cover panel
  • Remove bolt from front of hinge cover panel
  • Open door around one foot and rest the back end on something about the same height
  • Remove the three bolts from the hinge connecting it to the door
  • Loosen slack on cable by unbolting pulley under inside rear panel (tire tool storage on driver side)
  • Slide broken hinge out back of rail
  • Replace new hinge and put all back together
I don't know if there is a simpler way to loosen the slack on the cable, but this is how I did mine.
Hope this helps.

2000 Honda Odyssey rear wiper motor replacement

You are probably correct in thinking its the wiper motor. You can do this but you will need to remove all the interior trim from the rear hatch first. Get a trim clip removal tool at a parts store...it will work much better than just a flat blade screwdriver. You'll have to remove the trim panels starting in order from the top of the door, then the left rear window side trim, then right rear window side trim, then the grab handle, and finally the main rear hatch trim panel. Once inside, removing and replacing the rear wiper motor is easy. You'll start by lifting the cover on the wiper arm retention nut. Remove this nut to get the wiper arm off, then remove the nut under neath which is the motor shaft mounting nut. Now, back inside to remove the other 3 motor mounting bolts. Don't forget to disconnect the connector for the motor wires. Reverse steps to replace.

Honda Odyssey doors

I read about this issue while I was looking for a fix to mine. Try the following:

Remove fuse #13 for 30 seconds or more from the passenger side fusebox. This will reset the door and the clock.

OR

1.) Disable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
2.) Remove the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
3.) Manually open and close both sliding doors.
4.) Restore the power door fuses located under the front passenger leg area.
5.) Enable the power door switch on the left dashboard.
6.) Try opening the sliding doors.
