Your truck does not use a replaceable filter. The only filter is in the tank and requires tank removal to replace.

93 chevrolet silverado will not start fuel to throttle body can spray fuel in to it and it will start then dies (runs out of the fuel sprayed in)

Check for a dirty fuel filter, or it's a fuel pump relay/pump. If it has never had a fuel pump changed on it, it will say AC DELCO on the filter. The fuel filter is located under drivers side door along the frame. Fairly easy to change, and if this doesn't fix the problem, then it is the fuel pump relay/fuel pump. *Hint... it is easier to remove the bed of the truck than to drop the tank out. From experience it is much faster and easier to access.

Let me know,

Where is fuel filter on 2008 silverado

Hello there.
For the past few years more automakers are putting fuel filters on the fuel pumps inside the fuel tank. The fuel tends to wash the surface of the filter to keep them from plugging up.
So no more crawling under and getting that gasoline smell all over you ;).
Hope this answers your question.
