There is no reset switch. I'm assuming it turns over. May have no spark , but could be anything.

What can i do if the emergency cut off switch is not working and the engin wants to turn over but cant fully engage

If you have checked the voltage at the inertia switch and the switch can not be reset, you would need to replace it.

Where is the rear window defrost button? I bought a used 1999 Dodge Intrepid and can't find the button. Yes, silly, I know!

Not silly, the sometimes put them in obscure places...here is a silly question, it does have a heater grid on the rear window, right? If so, look on the center console, or to the left of the steering wheel for the switch, that is usually where Chrysler hides them.

Good luck! I can't type out the entire process but you need alot of tools, some chrysler only tools,a good manual, since you never did it before, coolant, the pump, new timing belt,a torque wrench for the timing belt tensioner, etc. Leave it to a pro.
