Door jamb switch wont turn bell off when key is out of switch

Check for play in ignition switch.If too much weight on keyring ignition switch may become damaged allowing key to be removed when switch is not actually fully in "off" position.

the chime is burned out or the door jamb switch not sending a signal to the module wire break inside the boot that cover the wires between the door and body

You need to determine which side is causing the problem and test that door switch ( usually on the door jamb, either hinge or latch side deoe4nding on model) Find the door stitch and push in on the switch fully by hand. Does the bell stop? if not, then your door switch is likely faulty and you'll need to replace it - a quick fix would be to dismount switch from vehicle and unplug. At this point, if the switch is bad the bell should stop. Make sure to tape the plug ends so they cannot short out against the body. I would also recommend tying a small string to the end before you cover the connection and securing the other end to the hinge ( tie it on or tape it) so you can retrieve the wires to reconnect the new door switch.

The bell will sound whenever a door switch is broken or its wiring is disconnected. Sometimes the door switches (which are located in the front of the door jamb, near the hinges) can fall inside because the plastic tab physically breaks off and then the system "thinks" the doors are open.

If the switches look secure, remove them from the doors, and with a voltmeter, check for a state change when pushing in on the switch with the wiring disconnected. No change, bad switch. If all four check OK, then the wiring to the door switches should be checked. The two primary connectors are underneath the driver's side bolster and passenger side kick panel. The lines terminate and connect here.

Usually a door switch, replace, starting with drivers door. For testing tape small piece of cardboard in door jamb to press switch in more. switch not repairable.

The switch/cylinder mechanisms are usually two separate parts. You should be able to get a new new key cylinder without the switch. Beware you would have different keys for the ignition/doors unless you had the re-keyed.

If you're referring to the Courtesy door switch (interior light turns on when you open your door), then quickest solution would be to locate the interior light fuse (inside fusebox) and remove it (key off).

However, it is possible that other devices like Keyless entry, Radio etc, may also run off the same fuse. If this is the case, then the safest bet would be to have someone remove the inside door panel (the one which the switch has fallen through) and disconnect the courtesy switch connector, until you have had the switch repaired.

check all your door jamb switches first. If the driver door does not close the door jamb switch all the way, it will keep the radio on for 30 minutes.

Sound like one of the door jamb switches is bad. Try taking a pencil or screw driver and pushing in on each door switch. Push the switch beyond the "flush" point to see if the switch is just not fully closing.
