2004 malibu blinkers dont blink. Manually you can turn off/on. Push flasher and all blinkers come on but dont blink. Please help, Tom

Common cause of such problems is the hazard light switch which is mostly little-used leaving the contacts dirty and oxidised.
Operating the switch rapidly for a few minutes often restores normal operation of the flashers.

Have electrical issues on a 2004 mazda 3.

I would check every single fuse in the car. Blown fuses can cause weird issues like this. While the initial issue with the mechanic does sound like an alarm problem....the rest does not unless the shop that installed it really butchered the job.

most possible problem is a ground problem, under the dashboard on the passanger side is a 4 way clip that 4 ground wires go to,sometimes they just go loose and needs to be re cliped, check that first,if not the problem then consolt an outo electrician

I have a 2004 chevy silverado. The blinkers are not working, cruise sometimes works and the hazards dont work. I have tried a new flasher box and have tried replacing the actual blinker handle, they are...

Sounds like no power to the flasher module - check with a multimeter and if no power, check the module connector, fuse and power line back to the fuse box.

My 1993 Sierra passenger side brake/blinker light didn't work. I took it apart, dug out the hardened [formerly] grease, put in a new bulb and it worked long enough to get inspected. Now it is out again....

These particular year models have a bad habit of the circuit board going out on them one at a time. I would by a new one from the parts house and replace it not a very expensive item.
