SOURCE: can i drain the transmission fluid on a 05 suzuki

yes. HOWEVER, whe you refill it. make sure that you put in the correct type of oil. refer to your owner manual prior to putting in any old automatice trranny fluid as some tranny's require a sopecial type of oil, put in the wrong one and you fry your transmission. If its a standard, put in the correct weight of gear oil. Not trying to scare you, but i want to make sure that your REFER TO YOUR OWNERS MANUAL for the correct type of oil to put in after you drain it.

good luck.

SOURCE: how do you add transmission fluid on 2004 suzuki

Welcome to the new era in automatic transmissions - sealed systems with "lifetime" transmission fluid. This is progress???

What makes you believe it needs fluid?

There are ways to drain and add fluid on most of these "sealed" transmissions; however, it involves drain and fill plugs underneath the car. This is not a procedure for do-it-yourselfers.

How do you check transmission fluid in 2004 Suzuki Forenza

There is no dipstick to check the automatic transmission fluid in the 2004 Suzuki Forenza. It is checked like a manual transmission. You will have to remove the fill plug underneath the car and then add some new transmission fluid until it drizzels out of the hole.

2005 Suzuki Forenza Wiper Washer Inop.

first and foremost, check that all your fuses are good. If they are, your next step would be to pull the winshield washer motor out and test it by applying 12 volts from the battery directly to the motor to see if it turns on. if it works then your problem is in the wiring, check that you are getting power to the harness when you turn it on. Now, if the motor does not work while applying battery power, then you need a new washer motor.

Where is the transmission dipstick

There is no dipstick for the forenza auto tranny. It is checked like a manual tranny. You have toremove the fill plug and add some untill it drizzels out. Also it uses a special fluid that you can only get at the dealer...... And it also uses a special tool to do it with .

Suzuki uses expensive silica based fluid meant for import cars. At the dealer they charge 18.00 a quart. If you mix the wrong fluid in it, you'll ruin your tranny.

Changing transmission fluid

The transmission fill plug is located on the backside of the tranny. (Down by the driver side cv shaft) You must fill it at that point. I have read that the tranny fluid must be bought from the Suzuki Dealer, but I am still looking into that? You should be able to add fluid into that hole until it starts to slowly run back out. Then it is filled to the right amount. ( A lot like a manual trans.) These cars are a money pit. Nice when they are running though. 2004 Suzuki Forenza
