Try unplugging the battery and wait about ten minutes...to let the computer reset..then reconnect the battery..if that doesnt work..try popping the battery with jumper cables from another car...(while connect)

Power distribution issue?

Bad fuse box or power center. The reason you have difficulty steering is power steering pump is not coming on. The abs and air bag light are on because of a fault in system. Windows don't work because of no power going to system with all this happened at one time a bad fuse box is most likely the cause

I need a fuse diagram for a 2006 Ford F250 2WD. My lights all work great on the PU but when I connect the trailer the lights work but no brake lights or turn signals.

If all the lights work properly with the trailer wiring not connected then the truck itself is fine. If attaching the trailer wiring causes the lights to permanently stop working on the truck then you are blowing a fuse and it will need to be replaced. Your owners manual will show you where the fuse panel is. You should be able to check the wiring plug at the back of the truck to be sure it is working properly with a test light and a helper. If the power for signals/brakes etc are not all working at the plug, then trace back and fix these. If all is good at the truck's plug, then the trailer wiring must be faulty. Again, go through it and fix anything that is broken or corroded. Of course it goes without saying, make sure all the bulbs are good.

Can't get the trailer running lights to work on my 2006 F350 Diesel 4X4. Tried the trailer on another vehicle with the same plug and they worked perfectly. All other lights work with the trailer when the...

Check fuse 28 in the fuse block under the left side of the dash. There is also a relay for the trailer park lamps in that same fuse block. The fuse and relay are the trailer parking lamps and run independantly of the vehicles parking lights. You can also try backprobing the other trailer plug (you should have one 7 pin and one 4 pin) to see if there is power at the park light pin. If there is power at the other trailer plug than the fuse and relay are bad and you may have a bad/corroded plug or bad wring to the plug that doesn't work.

No power to rear plug for lights on a trailer fuses look good

Do you mean nothing works or just the power lead? If nothing works I would check the ground. If just the power lead doesn't work on the I know on the older superdutys the large fuses had to be installed in the fuse box under the hood to make it work. They were usually in the bag with the trailer brake controller wiring and had directions on where they went. Hope it helps

2005 ford f-350 trailer brake lights and turn signals not working. need to know if they splice in, plug in, on thier own fuse and where?

They are spliced in. Your problem sounds like a bad earth to your trailer. Check you have a good earth as its a very common problem with trailer light's when a few lights are out.
