All the parts you need are easily found on the internet, for very low cost.

You should probably consider also doing the u-joint, flex coupling, support bushing, and spring as well, since they are all inexpensive.

1996 Dodge Dakota SLT ext cab 3.9 V6. How to remove drive shaft? Has a double shaft with a bearing in the middle. Bearing has a square frame around it.Has 3 u-joints on the drive shaft.

The shaft is removed in one piece. You first locate the two bolts that hold the center bearing assembly to its cross brace and remove them. Then, you go to the rear differential and remove the two straps holding the rear u-joint to the pinion shaft. Once you remove the rear u-joint from the pinion shaft, tape the loose end caps in place to prevent loss. Now you can slide the driveshaft to the rear, disengaging it from the transmission in front. You may want two people to do this as you need to avoid allowing the front yoke of the driveshaft to slam into the ground. Installation is the inverse of removal.

Is it possible to remove and replace front wheel bearings with out a press

In order to remove the front wheel bearings without press hub off the bearing and then the bearing out of the knuckle. To do the first step need a a Support Bridge. It is a special tool. Make bridge and use a general bearing pulled kit to replace bearings. use a "Front Wheel Drive Bearing Removal Adapters Puller Pulley Tool Set Kit" .To replace the bearing, remove front CV shaft taking care not to move the CV shaft too far out .

It is 2 wheel drive and is the drive shaft it has wheel bearing support is 2 part drive shaft and the noise is after 55 like every second like scraping noise

It can be a u joint,or the drive shaft bearing, some call it drive shaft support bearing,or swing bearing.Moving the drive shaft up,and down should tell you if the swing bearing is bad,it should not have no movement up,or down,or side to side.It should stay centered in the housing, surrounded by rubber.

How to replace front u joints 2001 suburban?

if its 4wd drop front drive shaft remove the clips that hold the ujoints in place use a socket or a punch about the size of ujoint cap put in vise and knock out the old joint and replace with new one careful not to hurt needle bearings in the caps. if it is rear wheel drive and two piece driveshaft undo the the shaft at rearend and undo the center support bearing in the middle of the two shafts and pull out of vehicle replace ujoints same way as above. if it does not have the clips holding caps it plastic seal which needs to be heated up until the plastinc runs out of hole in flange

Chey aveo front hub bearing what is this?

yes front wheen drives have hub bearings. Most of them need the hubs to be pressed apart to replace them. the hub bearing supports the end of the CV drive shaft closest to the wheel. hope that helps.

Bearing on 4WD front differntial drive shaft yoke

In short yes, the bearing is pressed on the pinion gear, the only way it will come out is to remove cover on housing and pull carrier with ring gear out, and also yoke that drive shaft bolts to, then pinion will come out, there is also a crush sleve that will have to be replaced when it goes back together it goes over the pinion gear, thats for backlash ajustment when you tighten the pinion back in the housing. if you plan on doing this yourself you will also need a dial indicater to set the backlash. If you want my advise take it to a shop to have it done, if you don't get it right it could end up costing you alot more than if you took it someware and had it done.
