Well thats a little involved for being a older vehicle. look for broken vacuum lines and bad fuses. also check the tension on the electrical connections. some might be loose from corrosion. what all does it do ? does it not come on at all?

Need diagram of charging system for 86 buick electra 3.8 v6

Running should be around 14 something volts. Sounds like your charging system is not working. 1986 MAY have a separate voltage regulator.

Cruse control not worklng

Generally, there is an interlock between the brake pedal, transmission position and cruise button. Most likely the problem is simply corrosion in the connector by the cruise control module in the engine compartment. Secondary: The vacuum line may need to be replaced or just may have come loose. It's time to replace most rubber lines in an '87 car.

1986 kawasaki voyager 1300 cruise control not working. Any suggestions?

Voyager 1300 models do not have cruise control from the factory. The purpose of the cruise button on the dash is to lean out the fuel mixture for better fuel economy.

Heater Core Replacement for 1986 Buick Electra Park Ave

there is no easy way to change out a heater core...you have to take the bottom part of the dash loose and that takes some doing. once you get the bottom of the dash apart you will see the heater core.then you have to go under the hood and unhook both water lines that run to it, you should then be able to pull the heater core out and install the new one
