It is an expert job.....you need to remove the timing belt first before removing the water pump. It;s best to replace the water pump every time ou replace your timing belt.

Loose timing belt

The tensioner is defective. Replace the tensioner and the belt. Also replace the Balance Shaft belt. Also replace the water pump which is driven by the cam belt. This will save you labor costs later on. On your Honda the belt must be replaced every 90,000 miles. Your engine is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur.

WHEN DOES THE TIMING BELT FOR A 2004 HONDA ACCORD GET REPLACED?

It depends on the engine. The 4 cylinder engine uses a timing chain, and is generally replaced every 150,000 miles (Honda doesn't give a specific interval) with the water pump (driven off of the timing chain) and timing gears. On the V6 engine, you have a regular rubber/steel belt, and it is supposed to be replaced every 105,000 miles, according to Honda. The water pump is driven off the belt as well, and should be inspected or replaced. (I recommend replacing the water pump anyway, just to save yourself any future trouble)

Motor using water and wanting to over heat?

It sounds like the pump, if it is leaking from the water pump, you should stop driving it right away as the pump is driven off the cam timing belt and if that comes off, major damage to the engine will occur. There is also a balance shaft belt under the timing cover, it should always be changed with the timing belt when the water pump is replaced.

Belt name

I have a 92 Accord, and there are only 2 belts that he can be referring to, one is the drive belt, which spins (drives) the power steering pump, a/c compressor, water pump, etc. the other is probably the one he is referring to, that's the timing belt. Honda recommends it be changed every 90k miles. If this belt isn't changed every 90k, it may break, and the accord has what is called an 'interference-' engine. This means that if the belt breaks, the valves and the pistons will strike one another, causing extreme damage to the engine. Note that if it is time to change the timing belt, u should also change the water pump, as it is easy to do at this time, and will cost much more down the road if u have to change it later, paying someone to disassemble much of what was done to replace the belt. Let me know if u have any other questions, or if I didn't answer your question clearly.
