2005 Dodge Stratus rough acceleration the blinking engine light comes on what is my problem

Blinking engine lights means a misfire. There is a problem with your ignition system. A bad coilpack or spark plug wire is usually the culprit. Have the car put on an analyzer. Auto-zone will do it for free. Depending on the engine type the print out will pinpoint which cylinder is misfiring. Good Luck!

Cylinder 1 misfire dodge stratus 2006

if you have a cylinder #1 misfire it could be one of several things. It could be a faulty spark plug, faulty ignition coil, faulty injector or worst case, bad compression in that cylinder. The most likely problem is probably a faulty ignition coil for that cylinder

One way to test that is to swap that coil to another cylinder and see if the miss goes to the other cylinder. If it does then problem solved. Replace that coil

My engine light flashed on and off for a few moments, what could be the problem. Dodge Stratus 2005

A constantly flashing check engine light means you have a bad misfire or something wrong that could damage the catyletic converter.

if you have blowby you have oil getting past your rings.or through a valve which can also be causing the misfire..the sensors you need to have it dianosed with a computer to see if there are any error codes
