Question about 2003 Lincoln Town Car
Depends on what car you're talking about. Cars with this option usually have a way of turning it off. On the Lincoln you can turn off the auto seat position by toggling the various buttons on the center of the dash. I think if you toggle through the various system options you will come to the seat positioning option. Change the selection to "off" and you should be fine. I know this works with cars that have a 1 and 2 driver auto seat setting option. Give it a try.

The idea of this is so people can get out easier, i am sure if you disconnect the power it will stop doing this but then u will be stuck with the seat in 1 spot.
