My car keeps stalling. I had my oil changed, oil filter and fuel filter, put carborater cleaner in the gas tank ...nothing has helped. Any ideas? I haven't had a tune up in 3+ years, could it just

It could need plugs, or something else. Plugs are designed to last 100,000 miles but no guarantee.
Often times stalling is caused by a dirty throttle body or a faulty idle air control valve. I would have a mechanic check the valve and also see if there are any trouble codes stored in the computer.

Truck will run only when i pour gas into carborater once it uses gas in carborater it stops firing

This sounds like a problem with the fuel pump. I would suggest that you check the fuel pressure. it should be 60psi. If not...fuel pump most likely the problem.

check the squirters in the carborater, there is a mechanical valve that squirts the gas into the butterflies, if the valves are bad then they will need to replaced hope this helps

Black smoke coming from tailpipe when i excelrate

HI,

First your silencer needs to be decarbonised.

Second the quality of gas may not be good.

If problem still exists get your air fiters/carborater cleaned up.

Hope your problem is solved.

Thanks

Where is the carborater located on a 1996 toyota camery?

find the air filter and follow it up to the throttle body and get a can of starter fluid and spray a small amount into the throttle body also take the gas cap off a few minutes and then put back on because it could have a vacuum pressure in the tank and if it does not work with the starter fluid you may have a plugged fuel filter too also look in owners manual and find out where your fuse shut off switch is and if no owners manual check here www.edmonds.com they have owners manuals online and you can try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you if you need anymore instructions

Smell Gas

Well korodiver it sound like the carborator was linking and then it leaked so much that no gas was getting to the carborater. The only thing that will fix your problem is just get a clean peice of cloth and push the acclerator and it will open the valves then just wipe out the carborator and it should fix it.
