Can you hear the motor turning in the door? If not, that is your problem - bad motor, loose connection......

If you hear it, the window regulator is probably broken. Google it for details. To fix it in a maxima was $75 (cost of part).

Tried it today and none of the windows work from master switch on drivers side except ft passenger window, which went down but will not go back up.

You can't put up the front passenger window with it's own switch ? Did you check the POWER WINDOW RELAY in the instrument panel fuse / relay box ? An you checked POWER fuse 30amp same fuse box ? All window switches have direct power from power window relay !

Ford Taurus Window won't go up

If you are hearing the clicking from the power window relay the only things left would be a break in a wire or a failed window lift motor. If this window only goes down but not up I would inspect the wiring at the door jamb for a damaged wire. If this fails to go either way I would remove the panel, insert test light into the lift motor leads (X2)and actuate the switch, if I get power then I would replace the lift motor. If you get no power in one direction - test switch.

Back Power Windows on 1999 Pontiac Grand Am Will Not Roll Up

Check to see if the power window regulators are burnt out or stripped. Gravity would be able to let the window "drop" into the door, but not raise again. At this age, I suspect they're toast, and I would look there first. Good luck!
