2006 Jeep Liberty ac not working, fuses are fine, relay good replaced low and high pressure switches refrigerant level is good still won't work

Check for battery voltage on the dark blue/yellow wire in the connector at the AC clutch with engine running and AC on. If no voltage, yank the AC relay and check for battery voltage on terminal 86 in the relay socket. If no battery voltage on that terminal, check fuse 21. If yes, check for ground on terminal 85 in the socket. If no ground, then PCM isn't commanding the AC clutch on. Check for voltage on the dark blue/yellow wire at the low pressure switch and good ground on the black wire. The PCM provides power to the low pressure switch which then goes to ground. The PCM is looking for a large voltage drop if pressure is above 34-38 psi. If pressure is below that, the switch will be open, so the PCM won't see a voltage drop and will prevent AC clutch operation. The high pressure switch should be closed at pressures below 270-330 psi

Pull jb power fuse15 stop drain no fan controls or radio

i cant under stand any of that.,i get JAB, and fuse 15
  • is this ?
  • battery drains over night? why did you say drain,if not.?
  • fuse 15 is ok. wild guess, sure, lots of loads, only a few fuse.
  • Hvac blower dead,
  • Radio dead
  • yes, the FSm does cover all that. sure.

id do the radio,so simple. 1 wire. for power, one fuse,
toss coin
03 GC WJ jeep it is zzzzz, slow internet on the beach
cant open free FSm. grrrrr
got it
jb f5 and 30 is Radio
f5 is only memory so fuse 30 is blown, why not test all fuses, keyon, 12v on both sides, and forget books. this works.

the blower is more complex. (controls)'

blower is pdc f1
and jb 20

Ac was working fine the night before. left the next mornng ac clutch will not engage. system was checked. freon pressure is good. checked fuses, all good . checked ac clutch fuse under hood . ok. replaced...

Check the low switch by the dryer or accumulator, its a long narrow cannister,

it will have a pressure switch attached to it or near it. put your, ac on high,

pull the molex off the switch and jump the molex with a wire or paperclip,

if the compressor comes on and the ac starts to cool, you will just need

to replace the low pressure switch, if the clutch does not come on,

check the low switch molex to see if there is 12vlts there. good luck!

Ac clutch squeals when i hit the gas no matter if ac is on or off but not at idle 98 jeep gc 5.9 need steps to replace clutch assembly

Are you certain that it's the clutch assembly?
Check the idler pulley. Poor tension in the idler pulley spring will cause the belt to squeal AT THE ALTERNATOR, and it may sound like it's coming from the AC.
The AC pulley typically "freewheels" when the AC is not on and the engine is running.
Have someone turn the AC on and off while the engine is running and watch the operation of the AC clutch. If it's working properly, the clutch should "click" and the back part of the pulley should start turning or try to turn.
If the squealing noise continues when the clutch is freewheeling, it's probably the idler pulley. If the AC Pulley won't start freewheeling, it's probably the clutch.
To remove the clutch system,
  • disengage the idler pulley and remove the serpentine belt from one of the pulleys.
  • rent, purchase or borrow a puller from a local auto parts retailer (Auto Zone and O'Reilly auto parts are both helpful)
  • some of the clutch systems have retaining bolts, some are just pressed in, figure out what you have before removing the clutch assembly using the puller.
  • The puller is also designed to help put the NEW clutch assembly back on the shaft.
The idler pulley assembly is a lot easier to replace.

How do I test the elec. motor and the fan relay on my '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport?

with an ohm meter check if the wires going to the relay have power when they should. next use a jumper wire from the pos. battery terminal to the power connector on the fan if the fan starts to run off the jumper then its probably the relay to blame. hope this helps.

Check the low pressure sensor and the hi pressure sensor to be sure they are operating properly. Also check compressor relay and all fuses.

Ac low on 99 devill

You have to make a jumper wire to put in the plug of the wiring that hooks on the pressure switch. This will kick on the compressor, and enguage the clutch on the compressor. Then you van charge the system.

1999 jeep gc 4.7 turn signals not working

check your charging system and battery. Low voltage will give both the symptoms you listed. As you drive, some recharging will return system to near normal, till it sits again. I'd pay close attention to alternator output...You may have one bad diode. This added to a battery with low capacity will look the same as what you listed.
To make a "quick check" put a set of jumpers on it and connect to another battery. If directionals work properly then check everything I've said. A "alternator "quick check" is to put a voltmeter across the battery. Running with no accessories on you should see between 13.5-14.0 volts. With accessories on including lights on hi-beam, you should see no less than 12.9 volts and after a few minutes voltage should not fall off. Your battery should read no less than 12v after standing overnight (slightly less if near 0 temps)but definitely not less than 11.9. Also, make sure alternator drive belt is sufficiently tight and not slipping.

04 jeep gc interior lights stay on, power windows, locks not work

Common issue with the early 2000 series Jeep is the window/door lock control on driver side goes dead when the thick guage wires in door become brittle and break from continually opening and closing the door. Had both the ground and hot wires break over the years and both are fixed by making a simple jumper connection with a little extra length added.

Fixing is relativly easy if you know how to crimp wire connectors otherwise you my want someone more experience to help.
Open door, pull back rubber sheath and expose wire harness, unclip the plastic retaining clip and pull out wire harness and located which wire has broken (typically the thick black or orange wire) . Prepare both ends for crimp connector and make a jumper with small peice of heavy guage wire and crimp connector of either end then connect each end to either side of broken wire, tuck wires back in, replace retaining clip and rubber sheath.

You can find videos on youtube showing how to fix
