The problem may be in the plug on your vehicle, you need to check all the wires on the plug, one may be loose or not connected at all,if you think the problem is with the trailer you need to do the same with that plug as well.....hope this helps......cheers

Dodge . . . in their infinite wisdom, has put a relay for the turn signals inside the fuse box which is not serviceable. You have to buy the entire fuse box. On my 2003 dually the price is $345. Nice going Dodge, the relay is about $12. I call this Technojunk!

Trailer lights come on when van lights are on but turn signals don't work.

The turn signal bulb circuit on the trailer MUST match the towing vehicles turn signals. Example: Tow vehicle turn signal light is the same bulb as the brake light, then the trailer must match. If the tow vehicle has a separate turn signal (amber bulb located away from the brake light) then an adapter is available that will send the correct power to the trailer so everything works correctly. The adapter can be found an auto parts stores, RV supply stores and some truck stops too.

2003 Dodge Ram 3500 left turn signal problems / trailer

Well let me shed some light on this issue. I have the same problem. Trailer connection from truck does not have power to left turn signal and left brake light. I just got back from the dealership and $100.00 labor charge. My problem is the TIPM (Fuse Box for short) and FCM (little silver module hooked to the Fuse Box on the left hand side of the fuse box). $910.00 for the parts and Chrysler doesn't have any in stock. 4-6 weeks to maybe fill a back order. I am currently researching an alternative way to fix this issue. I will let you know.

2001 Dodge Ram 2500, no running lights on trailer

The truck is protecting itself from the load impose by the trailer.. Chk the plug on the truck for wire gauge size. Turn any electrical loads off on the trailer, any and all. If fuse still blows then the fuse is either underated or the trailer has a dead short. In fact turn trail main power panel of. All lights work you say. So ck the inverter for defect byturning off the inverter on one of the trailers.

If you have amber signal lights & red brake lights, it's 2 separate circuits. You'll need to buy a small converter that you wire into harness to correct that. Not expensive, try autoparts store or RV/trailer sales, should have them.

No power to trailer brake lights on 2002 chev 3500. tail & turn lights work

You have running, & turn signals but no brake lights? If you have 2 separate lens for turn & stop, that's your problem. Isn't yours amber for signals & red for stop? if yes, you'll need to stop at autoparts store or trailer/RV place and get a little converter that you wire in to correct that.
