Question about 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt
Sounds like a fuse has blown. Check you fuse box for the ac fuse/ or look for one that says gauges, make sure its not blown.

That just happened to me. The mechanic told me that my car overheated and the car automatic shuts your ac off. My car was low on coolant. I just added some and hoping that once it cools down and I leave today from work it works. Also, the mechanic told me that the Chevy brands and the newer version have this in there car. Hope this helps.
