This system has a h t 6 ac compressor that is most likely the problem, replacing it is the best thing to do if the leak is often, and this ac compressor is at the top of the line for problems with leaking, stop leak will not work, and if the leak does not occur very often, just recharge the system, but if it is often, replace the ac compressor and it`s components. If this was at all helpful, please rate, and thank you,and buy the way ,it is a 99.9 percent chance ,this is the problem,

Why is my Air conditioning compressor cycling on and off?

Likely, you've lost your freon due to a leak. If the leak is slow, you can add a leak sealant and more freon yourself. If it's a major leak, that will work for a few days, and then all leak out.

Air condition

If you've never worked on an air conditioning system before, I would recommend you take it to a shop and get it checked out.
If the system is low on freon, you have a leak that would need to be fixed to keep any freon you add from leaking back out. And it could have an electrical problem instead of being low on freon.
Freon gas is minus 35 degrees when it comes out of the can.

I have a 1999 323i BMW. The AC doesnt blow cold (on cool days it blows cool temperature but not common A/C Cold Air, Hot Days it blows Warm/Hot Air). The heater blows warm air but definitely not common...

First things first.....You must have the air conditioning system hooked up to an a/c system machine and then checked for leaks and also read low and high side pressures. If there are leaks then low Freon (R134a) content and low refrigerant oil can cause the a/c system to not engage the a/c compressor which basically means you will not have proper defrost functionality nor regular air conditioning. Most shops, when working with your air conditioning, will install air conditioning dye to assist them in locating leaks and is the first step in diagnosing all a/c systems. I have a 1992 mercedes 200 E WDB 021 Saloon, it has 8 button air condition and I dont know how to use it. Control wheel on blue position but When I push the button (leftmost)which has a glass figure on it,...

The pulley on the air condition has to turn it has a belt on it. The Compressor engages to pre cool the evaporator. Most likely you have a blend door pod leak or leak in the hose or the sampler valve is bad. I would replace the sampling valve behind the glove box/air bag. As that reads the cabin temp and if it thinks the car is cold the heat will stay on because everything is automatic. All vents will blow cold when it thinks its hot and in addition to floor and corner dash center vents will blow cold when it works. If the direction of air is correct then the A/C system may have a leak or need a charge of freon.

My ac wont work

Must be Air-Condition System Lines/ Hoses leaking R12 Freon (gas).

MAYBE THE PULLY HUB BEARINGS FAILED OR
DUE TO VERY LOW R12 FREON (GAS ) will not work.
Because there is a switch in the receiver/dryer prevent AC from working when low R12 Freon present, to protect the system & compressor damages.

You must fix the leaks, before recharging it.

They must **** the old (residue) gases from the system & lines / hoses...... & stay in the vacuum pump 30 minutes to proof no more leaks.

Recharge some oil for the old type R12 Freon gas.

Before recharge it to 62-67 psi R12 Freon

My heater works but air conditioning won't

The Air-conditioning needs to be re-gassed. Take the car to an Auto Mechanic to get the Air-Conditioning re-gassed. They might also need to check it for leaks to make sure the gas stays in.
