Missing ... will not run ... others

If you suspect water in the fuel ... go to the auto parts place and ask for a product that will remove the water. There are several brands, they will recommend one good for your car.

Hi I have a 93 mercury villager mechanic replaced water pump and belts but dnt think thy timed it wen I picked it was thn wen I brought it it first gt hot again then was driving engine shut down

Before entirely blaming the village mechanic I would guess the water pump was probably not the only thing wrong and either the failing water pump caused another fault, made another existing fault worse or perhaps wasn't the original fault causing the symptoms.

Water pumps are very reliable and mostly only two things go wrong; either the bearing begins to fail and becomes noisy or the seal wears out and they begin to leak. Mostly these two things happen together but neither prevents the pump from pumping as long as the coolant level is kept topped up and so overheating and other symptoms cannot directly be caused by the water pump.
There have been a few isolated cases of the pump impeller falling off but that is very rare and something I have seen only once in forty years.

If a leaky pump caused the coolant level to fall significantly the engine could overheat and it is that overheating that tends to cause subsequent symptoms that need further diagnosis.
Overheating can shift large quantities of sediment from the engine block which can block a radiator. Overheating can damage thermostats, sensors and cylinder head gaskets. A damaged cylinder head gasket can soon cause lots more symptoms and eventually write-off and engine.

It is possible your village mechanic didn't time the engine correctly but on the face of things all he is guilty of is not testing the car thoroughly enough after his repair. Often this is caused by a lack of good communication between the owner and repairer.

What are signs and symptoms of a blown head?

white smoke out the tailpipe and the smell of anti-freeze in the exhaust gas. an engine that over heats either only at highway speeds or town driving, when all other things like, rad cooling fan working properly, thermostat is working properly, no external coolant leaks. the spark plugs may show signs of coolant on them. just some things that are indicators.

My Honda mixer. Runs very badly and kicks back while starting.

Suspect the timing chain/belt is slipping or out one degree

This is a symptom of its condition but before you check this buy gas line anti freeze pour it in the gas as water in the gas causes piston slap as water will not compress in the cylinder and will make the engine rumble

Water also makes the engine hard to start without holding the throttle wide open upon cranking and pumping the pedal.

Water in the gas is a cheap fix

R&R the timing chain is a credit card repair.

My toyota 22re engine overheated and stalled i then waited for the motor to cool down and started again and drove a lil ways further to a gas station where i then turned it off and it hasn't started since

That vehicle has an aluminum head when overheated heat will warp and cause a head gasket failure. It is also possible that the ring may lose tension and cause oil consumption.

A recent scan indicated the following PO 332 knock sensor PO 420 Cat. Converter PO 430 Cat. Converter PO 300 Misfire on cylinders 2, 4, an 6.

These are all transient symptoms, so I would not panic.
What I would suggest is putting in a tank of premium and fuel dryer.
A little water or cheap low octane gas can cause these symptoms.

If it happens again, a second try would be plug wires, because crossover in the wires will also do it.
Reducing plug gap will also make problems like this less noticeable.
You can go as low as .028".

Start with the cheap tries first, then worry about the more expensive things.

Looks like you have some water in gas. Check to see if you have a drain on your gas tank bottom. If so, since water settles to bottom, drain some gas out and hopefully you will be getting most of the water out. Otherwise you will simply have to "run it out" or have the station that sold you the gas take care of it.

What are the symptoms and causes of a cloged catalytic converter

Symptoms are rough running, stalling, poor gas mileage, and especially a strong smell of rotten eggs (sulfuric acid). The main cause is old age, but poor/cheap/contaminated fuel can also be a contributing factor.
