Question about 2005 Maserati Quattroporte
Hit that same button again in the rear compartment .
Lowering the top is simply a matter of placing the car in neutral, applying the emergency brake and pressing a small toggle switch between the seats. In a few seconds, the top is stowed neatly below a tonneau cover with the promise of open-air adventures just a paddle flick away.
There is a manual override switch in the trunk. remove the driver side tail light cover in the trunk and you will see the switch. See if it's in the manual position, if so, flip it to the normal position. If this doesn't work check and see if the switch is ok. look in the trunk on the driver side under the small removable panel for a switch at the front of the compartment (after you remove the panel) it is the manual operation switch for the convertible top.
In the trunk. If you look on the left hand side there should be a cover that can be removed...inside there is a switch that changes the convertible motor from manual to power.switch it to the power mode there will be no problems.
You may have to have the key in the "on" position to switch it over
