SOURCE: where can i find the OBD connector in my Subaru

Left side of dash lower cover, by your left knee. Just above hood release, there is a cover that flips upward to access your OBD connector. Hope this helps and have a great day.

SOURCE: where is the obd connector on a 1995 subaru

I have an Impreza and its the yellow connector under the steering wheel. Look down by the pedals, and look up. There should be a yellow connecter. Thats it.

Hi there I want to know if the cv axle of 1994 subaru svx is the same with the cv axle of impreza, legacy or forester? Thanks

You have to know the year and specific model of your SVX. Any Subaru parts department will look up the part number and also tell you if it is the same part as other models. They may work with you over the phone.

Where is the obd port

Yours will be only OBD-1, and there are very very few places that can read OBD-1 anymore. Some Subaru dealers still have a Subaru "select monitor" scanner for OBD-1 cars. You also have to know which connector is the OBD-1 connector, it's among many connectors that are up under the drivers side dash . I hope this info helps.

How do i change alternator belt on 1992 subaru svx

Remove the plastic cover held on by two 10mm hexbolts. Slide cover forward (dont try to lift up).

Below the Power Steering pump is a pulley. This is the belt tensioner. With a 12mm box-end wrench, loosen pulley bolt.

There is a 12mm bolt that extends from the pulley at a right angle. Turn this bolt counter-clockwise to loosen, and clockwise to tighten. Make sure you loosen the belt enough to easily slip it off the alternator pulley. Put on new belt and reverse disassembly process.

Why does my subaru svx cut out at 115 mph then runs fine below 115

It has a speed governor installed from the factory to keep it from going any faster. Only certain subaru's are made without them.
