Question about 1999 Chevrolet Suburban
The little arm on the inside of the interior door handle has most likely broken. It is part of the handle assembly and not sold seperately. To replace it you have to remove the inner door panel to get to the handle which is usually pop riveted to the metal part of the door structure. If it is pop riveted you have to drill out the pop rivet to remove the handle. I usually use a small bolt to hold the new handle in place. Be carefull when drilling out the pop rivet! Roll the window all the way up so when you drill through the rivet you don't accidentally hit the glass with the drill bit and break it. Although there could be something else wrong, I replace a couple of these a month for just this type of problem. Hope this helps!
