Sounds like you have a weak battery. Do a recharge and check the cable connections for corrosion.

Ok, first off do you have a chiped key? look on the side for a resistor symbl if yes try a spare key if you have one. secondly is the theft light flashing? third option turn the key to the on position wait 15 and try to start the car, if it is your security system this will sometimes deactivate it

Car made weird noises and then shut off while driving now wont even turn over

If the engine wont turn over after weird noises you may have seized the engine from over heating or lack of oil. Check for water in the radiator and oil in the sump. and if you are missing either then a replacement engine is the go

I have a ford ka, and when trying to put it into reverse it made a weird clunking noise. And then wouldn't come out of reverse. I had to really push at the gear stick to get it out. I can't select any...

If the Gear is truck into unless the clutch disengages it wont shift. So start the car move slightly- if no space is a avialable jack up and let the drive wheel move- now shift the gear after depressing clutch. It must shift over now. If not repeat while the drive moves. You can now shift the car to forward gear .

Car wont turnover but car is getting power - tried to jump but still wont start - no clicking noise at all

start by troubleshoot the alternator, your Car Battery and, Starter. It has to be one of the tree, it could also be the terminal wires connected to one of the three components.

I have gone through three starters on my truck in two weeks. My truck runs fine once starting but has trouble turning over. It's making a loud noise almost like metal on metal while trying to start

remove starter, mark your flywheel, turn one complete revolution with bolt in the crank
inspect every tooth on fly wheel, call your local
chevy dealer and give them the vehicle identification
number from your truck and ask for the manufacturers original part number call the parts house you got your starter from and have them cross reference your starters part number with the manufacturers to insure it is the correct model then shim your starter shims are available from your local parts house start with one shim if it grinds metal to metal add another if it whines like a low tone whistle
remove a shim repeat this process until you have the correct tone or sound when you start your truck
i hope this helps
