Question about 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Hi! Before cranking the engine please have the timing belt/chain checked for if they are broken it can damage the engine badly. Once checked and all good then there are few things to look at. Fuel pump may be faulty causing no supply of fuel to the engine which the car will only crank but wont start. Bad spark plugs and boots, replacing this will prevent fuel flooding. Damaged or faulty distributor cap and rotor, if this is the problem it really wont start for there will be no current to the plugs to burn fuel. You will need to replace these parts if confirmed faulty. Hope this helps and have a good one!
