Hello i have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L I will be

Hello i have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L I will be doing some work on it this summer and need to know if replacing the valve cover gasket rusted muffler and tailpipe disk brakes and calipers and after-market intake will be difficult to complete. Will there be any tools needed that a basic mechanic set can't take care off? With these jobs are there any useful pieces of information that could be overlooked? i ordered a haynes Jeep manual but it has not arrived yet. What will it probably miss when describing these repair jobs? thanks jordan

No just a standard socket set with regulation big hammer and a screwdriver kit will do

Your battery needs to be replaced, or the terminals need to be cleaned with baking soda and water ( 1/2 cup baking soda to 1 cup of water ) or a spray can of terminal spray from an automotive outlet.

How do you remove factory radio in 1997 jeep wrangler

Some of it (well most of it) just needs something flat to kind of pry off but there are a few screws (some kind of hidden) that need to be removed before prying. Below are some instructions that I hope help. Hope it does.

How do i get to my defroster on a 1997 jeep wrangler? it's quit working and i dont know what parts of the interior i need to remove to get to it.

its the blower motor in the dash. its on the passenger side. Go buy a chiltons or a haynes manual and it would walk you threw it. Good investment for the step by step instructions.

Same problem here.

It is possible that it lost fluid so just crack the bleeder vavle till fluild comes out, once it comes out close bleeder valce and try to move pedal. if it does not move then get a second person to push pedal all the way to the floor then open bleeder valve until you get solid fluid flowing out of it. then lock the bleader valve and see if the clutch push rod will move.If it does not move then the seals on the master or slave have gone bad and recommend replacing both at the same time.
