Change the spark plugs, wires, and air filter and maybe the gas filter if needed in order to do a 'tune up' on a 1996 Mercury Sable.

ford say 100.000 miles is about the time for a tune up it would also not be a bad idea to change all oxygen sensors at this time even if there still working.
