You have to remove the ignition coils. The plugs are under them.

How do i figure out which cylinder is cylinder 6 on my Chrysler 300 m year 2000. The location is in the engine dealing with the spark plugs.

no 6 is the last in an inline engine and last in the left bank facing the engine in a v 6
or second from the front in the left bank facing the engine for v 8
probably has the number cast into the inlet manifold as well

05 Chrysler 300 5.7l when crank engine turn over like it's getting too much gas. Check spark plug it's wet with gas on it. Spark plugs are new

I would check the coolant temperature sensor...the one that sends engine coolant temperature to the ECM. If the fail, they usually fail in the extreme, meaning that it tells the ECM that its something like -30 degrees F. This results in the ECM demanding tons of fuel in an attempt to start what it thinks is a very cold engine (much like the old chokes that were on older cars).

How do you replace the spark plugs on a 2005 chrysler 300? I can see three plugs with coils over them but where are the ones for theother side fothe engine? Are they under the intake?

YEP YOU HAVE TO REMOVE INTAKE AND REMOVE IGNITION COILS ON TOP OF THE SPARK.BESURE TO USE SPRAY COMPRESSED AIR AROUND THE COIL AREA AND SPARK PLUG TO REMOVE CONTAMINATES FROM AROUND SPARK PLUG TUBE.

Can't find the spark plugs in my 300 touring 3.5 engine

Each plug on the 3.5 motor has it's own coil pack. You can see each one of them on the top of each side of the motor, it looks like a small black square block held in with a couple of screws. You remove those screws and lift out the coil pack. The you can see down in there to get the plug out.

This link shows an older 3.5 but it's nearly identicle today. If you look in the middle of the rectangular "cutouts" on top of the motor you can see the coil packs, the plugs are under there. You'll need a long ratchet extension with your socket to get down in there.

probably a dead spark plug or spark plug wire. When they are running without one cylinder working, they will shake pretty bad.
