If you've replaced all those things, have you checked the radiator to make sure that it is not plugged? It may need to be pulled and rodded out by a repair shop. They can confirm that before pulling it.

I have a 2001 saturn sl2. No heat. I have flushed heater core today and replaced thermostat. Heater lines are warm. No other problems or leaks. What is causing no heat? Its cold all the time.

If after running the engine for 5 min both heater hoses are hot, it could be a blend door problem where air is not flowing thru the heater core. You may need a shop manual to troubleshoot the control.

Car is over heating. Alero 2001

If you changed the hoses and thermostat and the car is still overheating, then the next thing to look at is the water pump. See if the water pump is leaking water from a vent hole. If it is, then the water pump is defective and will need to be replaced. Sure hope this helped.

We can not get my car to start it is a 2001 sl2 saturn

There are only a few things left, check the radiator or send it to a radiator shop to see if it is clogged, if its fine then it should be the water pump. What is the condition of the antifreeze? If it has been neglected the passage ways in the motor and heads could be clogged.
