This is either a fuel pump issue or fuel lines being clogged try a fuel cleaner before replacing fuel pump as it could just be clogged.
No not the fuel filter but i would suspect the auto choke sensor in the cylinder head somewhere but i have no experance as to where it actualy is located .
i do not think that a fuel cleaner additive will help --BUT-- you never know this is one of them catch 22 type situations where you kick it up the exhaust and swear at it in japanese and then it works for ever after ,if i had it in front of me and tried it myself in the morning i would no doubt sort it out ,but as you appreciate that with anything mechanical combined with electronics is a disaster area for fault finding

It cranks but does not start. Its like it isnt getting enough gas to start but in the evening it starts up and runs with no missing or idling issues. Then after it starts and i turn the vehicle off I can restart it with no problems.
I will try the fuel cleaner and see what happens. Thank u so much for your advice.
