Look in engine compartment for a label. There should be one stating the refrigerant type and charge needed.

### 93 ranger a/c retrofitted to r-134 how many ozs of 134 sould I install

A good place to start is 80 percent of the original charge. IE: if your truck took 2.25 lbs of r-12, then multiply 2.25 x .8 = 1.8lbs x 16oz = 28.8 oz.

### A/C does not work. the red a/c light blinks

Hi,
You're probably out of refrigerant. And your '93 probably uses the old R-12 -the expensive stuff. You can get it converted to R-134, but they'll need to completely evacuate your system - probably \$250+. Look online about R-134 conversion and see if you REALLY need AC.

### Puts 3 cans of R12 freon still not cold. This is 2000 sienna. How many cans does it need?

Three cans (36 ozs.) of refrigerant is probably more than an empty system would hold; however, I'm more concerned that you have put in the wrong refrigerant because most if not all vehicles since at least 1993 are using R-134 refrigerant.

### How can I determine whether or not my 1992 Honda Accord has been retrofitted for 134 refrigerant.

R12 fittings are threaded on the outside and are smaller than R134a fittings which have no threads on the outside.

### Where is the low pressure port A/C port on a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII. Be more specific than the smaller port on the larger line as the smaller port on the larger line doesn't fit any of the refrigerant...

LOW PRESSURE PORT HAS A BLUE CAP ON IT.MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING REFRIGERANT R-134 BLUE CHARGE HOSE.R-12 CHARGING HOSE WILL NOT FIT R-134 SYSTEMS.SEE YOUR CAR HAS R-134 REFRIGERANT SYSTEM. THE EARLY 90S CARS HAVE R-12 REFRIGERANT SYSTEM.YOU NEED R-134 CHARGE HOSE SET.

### 1993 honda accord engine service light is on and Shift drive D4

If the drive light flashes there COULD be a trans problem. The Ck Engine light and the D4 light are on for the same reason. Take it to a qualified repair shop to have it checked out. Find a shop that regularly works on HONDA and not some chain store operation.
