I have a KIA Sportagae 2006. A light lit up on my dashboard which is yellow, looks like a horseshoe and has an explanation point in the middle. What does that mean?

I believe the exclamation point inside the lines(which are supposed to be a tire symbol) is a low tire pressure warning indicator. Check all tire pressures, as a drop of just 10% will set the lamp off. It will take up to 5 minutes with the car running for the lamp to shut off after filling tires. Hope this helps.

GOOD LUCK i hope this is of help

A horseshoe yellow symbol lights on the dashboard.

Hello! The symbol you are referencing is an indication that one or more of your tires is critically low on pressure. Many, many people see it as a horseshoe; You are not alone. It is actually a symbol of a tire. This system was designed to provide warning when tire pressure of any one of the tires is critically reduced while the vehicle is moving. It must be re-initialized by pushing and holding the "set" button if indicator light remains on or blinks, and/or after replacing or rotating tires or wheels. The set button is located below the steering wheel. There is an option that your vehicle may/or may not have and that is a tire pressure sensor on your spare tire. So make sure, if option is equipped, that the pressure in the spare is correct.

The sign that came on is a (!) with a wavey line on the bottom

That symbol usually indicates tire pressure in one or more tires is low. But as far as i know a 2000 accent didn't come with a tire pressure monitor system. So, if it's available, check the owners manual.
