I have a 2001 Malabo it starts when it's cool but when it gets hot it won't start until it cools down

You may have a failing electric fuel pump, next time it fails to start, have a can of spray starting fluid on hand and spray it into the air intake of the engine, if it fires up right away then the fuel pump is the problem, the pump is located inside the fuel tank.

This is going to be tough to fix. Chances are its a relay or the ignition module, but until it gets to where it will not start for several minutes or not at all, you won't know if you have fixed it or not.
Something is getting hot, cooling off, then getting hot again.

2000 dodge intrepid wont stay running

Have fuel pressure tested in both situations. I've seen fuel pumps quit once they get heated up, then when they cool, pump again. Perhaps try WD40 sprayed in to throttle body inlet when no start, and that will tell you if it's a fuel delivery problem. Just remove air cleaner intake hose at front of throttle body, and open throttle and spray for a second or 2 then try to start. If it fires up and runs for a second or 2, then it's a lack of fuel issue.

My 04 VW Jetta blew thick white smoke from tailpipe after freeway drive. No indicator lights came on, all oil leaked out (after smoke started)... is this engine or could it be just the turbos? Right...

A new turbo charger is about $340, but you can buy the bearings and seals and rebuilt if yourself for about $100
http://turbosandparts.com/
It is not hard, and it does not take long to do.

I normally do not bother with synthetic, but with a turbo charger, it might be worth it. What really seems to ruin turbo chargers the most is not letting them cool off before parking.
Once you turn off the engine, there is no longer any cooling, so the build up heat will burn up the oil and seals.
Run the engine for at least 5 minutes below turbo levels, before shutting down the engine.

Starts when cold when i turn off engine vehicle recieves no fire

most likely the module that goes inside of your distributor is bad.i had the same thing happen to me on my astro van i owned a few years ago.i would drive it for a while then shut it off.it would not start until it completely cooled down, then it would start back up right away.i replaced the module inside the distributor( which cost me about 45 dollars at the time)and the van never had that problem again.it would start up every time no matter how many times i turned it on or off.hope this info helps you.take care and good luck, manny

Look under the hood on the fire wall where the heater hoses go into the interior ogf the car. The heater core is just inside under the dash. theree is no easy way to tak out the heater core. But it is done all the time.
Do that only if it's leaking and the carpet under the dash is wet. If not, try flushing the heater core .With the engine cold and the radiator empty, Take both hoses off that connect to the heater core. Insert some hoses to both the inlet and outlet so you can direct the water down and away from the engine. With a good stream of water pressure. Put the water hose into one of the inlets. And spray the water in until it comes out the other hose. Flush out everything that may be clogging the core.

Falure to start have replaced fuel pump cant get fire to engine

If you have a spark at the plugs(assuming petrol) try some easy start in the inlet. If it starts ok then dies, suggests a fuel problem. If so put some RED-X or similar in the fuel and start with easy start again. Also, remove air filter assembly, and crank over with the palm of your hand over the inlet, this will **** any crud from the jets. Spray easy start into the inlet direct to get it started, and it should clear and eventualy run.

turbo is malfunctioning the turbo waste gate is not working take it to a shop right away, preferablly tow it so as not to damage the engine, if the exhaust gas's gets near the turbine bearings you will burn up the engine and the turbo cna explode like a hand granade and destrou your enging.
